A Look Back
A return to the initial two pictures the students compared at the beginning of the lesson in the engagement will help them understand some of their own discoveries with the live algal cells and the coral survivorship.
Objectives
Students will use knowledge gained from their experience to revise their thoughts about the two original aquatic ecosystems that were already compared.
Materials
Two photographs document displaying the contrasting aquatic ecosystems from the engagement.
Procedure
1.  Ask the students to share what they now think is the main difference between the two pictures.
2.  Some responses could be:
"The brown water is caused by algae floating in the water".
"The algae doesn’t allow light to get through to anything below it".
"The algae that lives within the coral cannot survive without light".
