Additional Web Resources
Chalk or colored markers
Scientific method vocabulary definitions handout ( teachers can type their own sheets based on which scientific method words they want to focus on)
Game buzzers (any object to help identify players)
Procedure
1.) Teacher will read a definition clue off of the paper.
2.) Student will say a letter of the word they are trying to solve. Teacher will act as letter writer/ score keeper. If the unrevealed clue has the letter in it, the teacher will write it in the space provided. Another student will have a chance to say a letter.
3.) If at any time a student has the answer, they are supposed to buzz so that the teacher can call on them to say the vocabulary word.
4.) One point will be scored for each correct response. Whoever has the most points at the end of the game, wins the prize.
5.) Other resources are listed in the resource part of this lesson for additional engagement activities.
