Pass the Crab Please
The activity "Pass the Crab" is an interesting way to assess what students have learned from the lesson. A written test will also follow the game.
Objectives
1. Assess the knowledge and comprehension gained from the lesson.
2. Demonstrate mastery over the lesson about crabs.
Materials
Box which contains questions about the lesson on crabs
CD player
Lively music
Copy of written assessment
Procedure
1. The class and the teachers will create a simple crab dance.
2. A box ,containing questions about the lesson on blue crabs, will be passed around the class.
3. When the music stops, the person holding the box will show one step of the crab dance, then answer the question.
4. This will continue until majority of the students have picked questions from the box.
5. A written assessment will follow this acivity.
